I'm a typical girl who loves sparkly things. When I was a little girl, I loved going through my mom's jewelry box with my sister and trying every single earring, necklace and bracelet on.
The idea of starting this web site came in December 2002, when I decided to make handcrafted jewelry to give to my best friends and sister. It just came to me out of the blue, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to try my hand at this online business just for the fun of it. I also love visiting the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, CA to look for one-of-a-kind items to incorporate in my jewelry designs.
As for the name of the web site, Bellaceti is a made-up word. It has been my Internet handle for the past seven years. I don't know its origin, but it sounds rather pretty to me. So when I had to come up with a name, Bellaceti was it.
I am a graphic designer by trade. A few things I love include photography, gardening, and web design, which all became very useful when creating the store.
