I saw <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B6Q0YS4lXXw\/\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a> on Brooklyn Tweed&#8217;s Instagram and just had to get the pattern! <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/people\/baroquepurls\" target=\"_blank\">Amy van de Laar \/ baroquepurls<\/a> created such a brilliant pattern. I just can&#8217;t resist these type of knitting where clever lace and twisted rib make such an ingenious texture and wonderful stitch definition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I still had a few skeins of Knit Picks Gloss Fingering after working on the Love Note, so I decided to give the Ensata Cowl a go. The reverse twist ribbing was nice to do, and the lace pattern definitely kept me on my toes! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex progress<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This cowl will be a birthday gift for my mom-in-law. The last time I gifted her a scarf was quite a long time ago, when all I was doing was practicing my garter stitches! She has since received other knitted garments from me, but still loves the scarf.
